Jeffrey Steele & Friends 2014
the 7th annual Jeffrey Steele & Friends will take place Tuesday March 11, 2014 at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin, TN. The charity concert will feature Jeffrey Steele & his band performing with a variety of artists including LoCash Cowboys, Chris Janson, The Shggah Pies and more to be named! The event also includes a live auction. Tickets go on sale THIS Friday at 10am! This is an incredible event that raises money for programs and projects that impact overlooked and at-risk youth.

This year the Alex LeVasseur Memorial Fund is partnering with The Beat of Life, a local non-profit. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go to The Beat of Life, an organization that provides therapeutic music programs to human/social service organizations and populations in need throughout Nashville that cannot otherwise afford it through the mobilization of Nashville’s talent and resources. Want to make the holiday season extra special? Consider JS&F tickets! On sale HERE Friday at 10am!

CreativelyMusical.com Artist of the Week – Jeffrey Steele

This week my featured artist is Jeffrey Steele. If you’ve been listening to country music for the last two decades or so, you’ve heard a Jeffrey Steele penned song. He’s not only written for himself and his band Boy Howdy, his songs have been recorded by Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Mark Wills and more.

While I love the versions by other artists, Jeffrey’s versions – especially live – are just better. The above video is probably my most favorite Jeffrey penned tune, “What Hurts the Most.” I was at this particular concert, AlexFest in 2008.

Here are some more videos, I could give you links to recorded versions but you need to hear Jeffrey live – it is amazing. He is so passionate about every song he sings.

This is a playlist on YouTube of a bunch of Jeffrey’s live performances. Click through to watch on YouTube to see all of the videos:
