ICM Nominees Make National Radio Rounds and Will Present at IBMA Awards

TheRoys_2013_publicity_lrgNashville, TN (September 9, 2013) – Busy Bluegrassers THE ROYS return to host the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree, one of the longest-running radio shows in the U.S., on September 14. They will bring along Country newcomers Branch & Dean (“The Dash”) as their special guests. Fans can listen to the world-famous show live online at 650AMwsm.com.

Beginning at 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday, September 18, audiences can hear the duo talk tracks on SiriusXM / Bluegrass Junction’s Track-By-Track program. Hosted by Kyle Cantrell, the feature shines the spotlight on the duo’s current CD GYPSY RUNAWAY TRAIN (Rural Rhythm Records) and repeats (all times Eastern) Thursday at 9 p.m., Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.

THE ROYS will be presenters for the first time at the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Awards Show in Raleigh, NC on September 26. They are nominated for two 2013 Inspirational Country Music Awards (Inspirational Bluegrass Artist of the Year and Vocal Duo & Performance of the Year) and winners will be announced in Nashville on October 24. THE ROYS were previously honored with these ICM Awards: 2012 Bluegrass Artist of the Year, No. 1 Inspirational Country Single (“I Wonder What God’s Thinking”), 2011 Bluegrass Artist of the Year and the 2009 & 2010 Duo of the Year.

Nashville, TN (September 3, 2013) – APA Nashville congratulates the award-winning Bluegrass duo Dailey & Vincent on their three IBMA and five DOVE award nominations.  Their 2013 International Bluegrass Music Association nods includeEntertainer of the YearVocal Group of the Year and Jamie Dailey for Male Vocalist of the Year.   The duo’s DOVE Awards nominations include:  Bluegrass Album of the Year (GOSPEL SIDE), Song of the Year (“From My Rags To His Riches” with Devin McGlamery), Bluegrass Song of the Year (“Living In The Kingdom of God”), Bluegrass Song of the Year (“Peace That Covers All The Pain”) and Country Song of the Year (“From My Rags To His Riches” w/ Devin McGlamery).

“They are brilliant ambassadors for Bluegrass, Country and Inspirational music,” notes Cass Scripps of APA Nashville.   “These nominations are a testament to the duo’s talent and dedication.” To date, Dailey & Vincent have won an impressive 13 IBMA Awards (including three each for Entertainer of the Year andVocal Group of the Year) and over 40 other awards and honors including two Grammy nominations.

IBMA winners will be announced Thursday, September 26 amidst the organization’s WORLD OF BLUEGRASS event (September 24-28) in Raleigh, NC.  The 44th Annual Gospel Music Association Awards show will be held in Nashville onTuesday, October 15.

The duo heads into the award “season” fresh from their first Dailey Vincent Fest held  at Denton Farm Park in Denton, NC on September 20 – 21.  The stellar line-up for the event includes: The Seldom Scene, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder and others.   Dailey & Vincent recently performed before a sold-out audience at the historic Ryman Auditorium and are booked to play the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York City next summer.
