It was windy, so these aren’t as crystal clear as I was hoping for, but it is still so cool to see the lights illuminate the ice coated trees.

The video was produced by Tom Frkovich (Kennedy Center, Amazon, United Way), directed by Nicole Agostino (Silver Linings Playbook) and filmed at several New Jersey locations. Settings include the Almonesson Fire Hall in Deptford and Exley’s Garden Center & Christmas Tree Farm in Sewell. The garland-festooned log cabin seen throughout is the Franklinville home of Sherry’s friends Donna and Joe Kennedy, who also portray a merry mother and father.
“Christmas On My Mind” kicks off with Lynn’s crystal clear Country vocal, a bouncy melody, tinkling sleigh bells, chimes and more. It’s a song Sherry has been searching years to find. “I have always wanted to record a Christmas song,” Sherry notes. “And while I love the traditional classics, I wanted to find something new so I could make it my own. Source: Webster PR
————————-
![]() “Deana sounds absolutely great on her new CD Destination Moon. She sang and sold all of these great songs beautifully. Her dad and I are very proud of her,” says longtime friend Regis Philbin. Deana chose each of these songs for their personal meaning, including those made famous by Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Dinah Washington, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin and other legends. Each selection is a glimpse into Deana Martin’s unique window to the world of pop music and The Great American Songbook. Of the 14 tunes presented here, four are making their world debut: “Where Did You Learn To Love Like That,” “Stuck In A Dream With Me,” “Read Between The Lines,” and “Paradise.” “Your new CD Destination Moon is TERRIFIC! ‘True Love’ is beautiful,” says Carol Burnett. “Listening to Deana Martin’s new album, Destination Moon is like being wrapped in a cashmere blanket of nostalgia. I enjoyed every track. You can hear Deana’s love in each song, and feel the connection and spirit of her father,” adds actor/writer/television host Bonnie Hunt. A one-way trip to the moon takes about four days – Deana Martin pulls it off in about 45 minutes. Buckle up and enjoy the ride! # # #

About MIDNIGHT RΞD:
United by their intensely pure talent and passion for music of all kinds,Midnight Red’s members hail from all over the U.S. As the second signing to the partnership between Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter RedOne’s 2101 Records and Capitol Music Group, Midnight Red is now teaming up with RedOne (Lady Gaga, U2, J.Lo, Pitbull) to create a debut EP that showcases their powerhouse vocals and harnesses the combustible energy of their live show.
Near-lifelong singers and dancers hailing from wildly different backgrounds,Midnight Red saw its inception when Anthony and Eric met through their mutual vocal coach. A star dancer for Monsters of HipHop, Anthony had tried out as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson at age 12, then made it to the final round of auditions only to find he was too young to go on tour. After Anthony connected with Eric (through a vocal coach), the two reached out to Thomas, who soon relocated to L.A. from his rural Texas hometown to join the group. A self-described music obsessive “raised by MTV,” Thomas devoted his high school years to scouting out any opportunity to sing onstage, and had crossed paths with Eric through a singing competition when he was 15. Next, the group tracked down Colton after stumbling across a YouTube video of the aspiring singer/school-chorus star covering Jesse McCartney’s “Leavin.’” To round out the lineup, Midnight Red’s then-manager tapped Joey, another aspiring singer who was attending California State University, Northridge (and whose singer/songwriter father, Joey Diggs Sr., had recorded vocals with the likes of Smokey Robinson, Whitney Houston, and Rod Stewart).
About MIDNIGHT RΞD Members:
Joey Diggs Jr. age 24, from Los Angeles, CA says his father, a singer who is best known as the voice behind Coca-Cola’s “Always” campaign jingle, taught him everything he knows. After hearing Michael Jackson for the first time in his childhood, Joey’s life as a musician was forever transformed. Jackson’s music continues to inspire him to reach new levels as a performer overall musician. Says Joey: “I’m ready to show the world what it means to chase a dream and work hard to make that dream become reality.”
Thomas Augusto, age 22, from Arlington, TX, was called the “little entertainer“ because “my parents could never shut me up,” he says. Thomas, occasional dubbed “Tom-O,” grew up a child of ‘90s, and was influenced from early on by MTV and other outlets of pop-culture. A fan of Beyonce, Radiohead, and No Doubt, he has spent years dreaming about being on a huge stage doing what he loves to do. “There were always pyrotechnics in my daydreams, so I know I am on the right track!” he says.
Eric Secharia, age 21, from Burbank, CA, describes himself as a “hipster” whom you’ll never catch not smiling. Eric, who has been singing since age 6, and dancing since age 12, plays guitar and cites Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson as his main musical influences. Though he claims he fell in to music “accidentally,” at a young age, it is very clear that he was born to perform. “They are two people who truly stood out as performers that mastered their craft and used it to change the world,” he says.
Colton Rudloff, age 24 from Buffalo, NY, was selected as Midnight Red’s fifth member after being discovered through videos he had posted on YouTube. Colton grew up an avid fan of American Idol and he credits the show not only with exposing him to multiple genres of music, but with encouraging him to follow his passion for music and becoming a professional singer and performer. “I lean toward artists who have a passion for pure singing,” he says. “There’s no need for all the smoke and mirrors if you have a great voice.”
Anthony Ladao, age 20, from Seattle, WA, is the “baby” of the group, and has been dancing since the age of 6 and singing since the age of 12. He describes his own style as an artist as drawing influence from the worlds of pop and rock. Though he comes from a musical family and has always loved music, the turning point for him was seeing Usher perform at the MTV Video Music Awards. For Anthony, this sparked an interest in dance and “from there it became my passion,” he says.
Creatively Musical Featured Artist for 12/4/2013 – Jamey Johnson
Jamey Johnson is a country singer/songwriter who’s written songs recorded by George Strait and Trace Adkins, among others.
Jamey is old country, outlaw country and far from pop country. In my eyes, it was his award winning song “Give It Away” (recorded by George Strait) that brought Jamey to the forefront of the country scene. His acceptance speech thanking his ex-wife garnered him a lot of attention.
His albums High Lonesome and Guitar Song are two of the best country records to come out of the 2000’s in my opinion. They are as stone cold country as today’s country can get.
The song “In Color” is one of my favorite Jamey Johnson songs and Guitar Song is my favorite Jamey Johnson album.
Below are a few links to songs to check out, but I recommend checking out all of his music, including the songs he’s written that were recorded by other artists.
Check out JameyJohnson.com for more information about Jamey and his music.
HANK WILLIAMS JR. SONG “ANGELS ARE HARD TO FIND” FEATURED IN GEORGE CLOONEY & SANDRA BULLOCK MOVIE GRAVITY
Source: Webster PR
————————–
“There are a couple of parts in the movie where the grizzled man astronaut, played by the devastatingly charming George Clooney, is floating around listening to music in his suit. He’s listening to Hank Williams Jr.’s “Angels Are Hard To Find” which ostensibly is about a woman but can be applied to basically anything else. It was just a tiny part of a gigantic movie, but it was entirely moving. It was so peaceful and terrifying. I loved it.” – Shea Serrano, LA Weekly
![]() “This song was on both my 1974 album Living Proof and the 1991 album Pure Hank. It just proves good songs resurface at the appropriate time,” says Hank Williams Jr. “I like both Sandra Bullock and George Clooney in their roles. Then hearing my song in the movie, for me, already made it a winner.” “Angels Are Hard To Find,” is included twice within the movie where Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone – tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into… More the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space. http://gravitymovie. Download “Angels Are Hard To Find” on iTunes: |
